The City of Broken Bow has received a permit to operate a Construction and Demolition Landfill for citizens of Custer County.  The site will be open Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Saturday hours are 9:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The rate is $7.00 per cubic yard with a mimimum of $10.00 and must be paid at the site.  Vehicles will be charged based on capacity of the vehicle.

The only acceptable materials are clean construction and demolition waste, timber, drywall, shingles, flooring, glass and siding.

Unacceptable materials include appliance, liquid waste, asbestos, special waste, household waste, tires, drums, fuel tanks, oil containers, hazardous waste, corrugated cardboard, municipal solid waste, industrial solid waste and waste containing pcb's.

Questions concerning acceptable waste should be addressed prior to taking the waste to the site.  Please contact Steve Waring at 872-5831.  Failure to follow regulations prohibiting unacceptable waste can result in fines and/or closure or the facility.  Your cooperation will allow us to provide a valuable service well into the future.
