Welcome

WELCOME  BACK ALUMS

This is always an exciting time of the year when you and your classmates can get together and reminisce about the good times and fond memories that you have of your school days at Broken Bow High School.

The City Government team hopes that you notice all of the changes that have been made and can feel the positive attitude of the residents of Broken Bow.

Regardless of what class you graduated with, we would like all of you to consider moving back to Broken Bow to raise your families in this growing town.  We have two new housing developments that are just beginning, along with many nice houses on the market.  You already know that we have an outstanding school system and our health care system is one of the best in Nebraska.  Broken Bow is a safe town in which to raise your children.  Don't let them miss out on the benefits of growing up in a small town.  To get more information, log onto the Chamber of Commerce website which is brokenbow-ne.com, or sandhillsexpress.com and you can log onto the City's website from there as they are networked.  You can also contact Doug Campbell, Economic Development Director Corporation about business opportunities in Broken Bow.  Doug's phone number is 308-870-2959 and his email address is econdev@kdsi.net.

We hope you have a great time at your reunion and that you will consider coming home to the good life and being a part of this growing community.

And, for the non-alumni who happen to be in our community, we say w

Broken Bow's safe and friendly environment makes it an ideal place to raise a family.  To testify to this, many of the young people who have grown up in Broken Bow return to work and raise their families here.  We have many recreational opportunities for both youth and adults.  Our well-staffed police department and highly trained volunteer fire department and emergency response team provide secure living conditions.

Broken Bow has a healthy economy and a very energetic economic development program.  The city government and the Economic Development Director work together to encourage community growth by ensuring there are jobs and affordable housing available.  I invite you to come visit our city and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the scenic beauty.
